Horse Camps for Adults & Kids

At Al’s Horse Academy, campers dive into a fun and hands-on experience that combines learning, riding, and creativity. Activities include:

• Basic Horse Care – grooming, feeding, and safety
   
• Horse Anatomy & Equipment – understanding tack and how it’s used
   
• Horseback Riding – building confidence in the saddle
   
• Educational Games & Activities – teamwork and problem-solving
   
• Arts & Crafts – creative projects to take home
   
• Family Cookout – a special end-of-camp celebration with loved ones

Our Adult Horse Camp is designed to help riders build—or rebuild—confidence while gaining new horse knowledge and practical skills. Whether you’re returning to riding after years away or looking to deepen your horsemanship, this camp offers a supportive and educational environment.

Adult Camps are held two times a year: Early Spring, and Late Fall.

• Schedule: Thursday–Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM 
• Cost: $175 
• Ages: 16 to 106 years old

 Our Kids’ Horse Camps are perfect for both first-time riders and experienced young horse enthusiasts! Each camp provides a fun, safe, and hands-on learning environment where children build confidence, learn new skills, and make lasting memories.

Camp Schedule:

• Summer (3 sessions available) 
• Summer Advanced Session 
• Fall Break 
• Winter Break

Details:

• Runs Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM 
• Drinks provided — please pack a sack lunch 
• Friday includes a Family BBQ & Demonstration, where campers showcase what they’ve learned 
• Cost: $200 per week
